There are hundreds of wineries in the Paso Robles, California, region. For those who are visting the area, be sure to spend some time visiting the finest wineries in the area.

There are many Paso Robles wineries to choose from, most of which are worth your time, but presented here are the three Paso Robles wineries most often referred to as must visits.

The EOS Estates Winery

Pas Robles wineries have an interesting histories and the EOS Estates Winery is one of them. Their official website states the winery got its name from the "Goddess of the Dawn." This Greek Mythology was used to perfect their wines with vineyards at the estate harvested immediately before or after the sunrise.

During your visit you can take advantage of the complimentary tasting of EOS Estate wines avialable. However, there are many other draws to this Paso Robles winery. Self-guided wine tours are provided and you can relax in luxury while visiting their rose garden.

The EOS Estates Winery also puts on some amazing events, including educational events, musical concerts, and much more, plus the winery participates in many annual area festivals.

The tasting room at EOS Estates Winery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the summer, but closes at 5pm the rest of the year.

Still Waters Vineyards

Still Water Vineyards, is located six miles from Highway 46, which is a bit off the beaten path. However, Still Water Vineyars is well-worth going out of your way to visit. In fact, all the other wineries close by make for a great day filled with great wines.

The initial attraction of Still Water Vineyards is their history, a story filled with inspirational. According to their official website, the owners dreamed of starting a winery on just one-acre of land, and soon realized the importance and potential of producing their own grapes. Thus, they developed the Still Water Vineyards, now situated on 60 acres of land.

In addition to wine tasting, you can bring lunch and explore the ranch. Wine tasting is open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Summerwood Winery & Inn

Summerwood Winery and Inn is another winery in the area you should consider a must visit. This winery, as with many others, places major focus on producing quality grapes since their wines are made with grapes grown on the estate.

The tasting room is open daily from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. with extended hours, until 6 in the summer. Wine tours are available by appointment only.

When making your travel arrangements, consider staying at the Summerwood Inn where guests are provided a most excellent wine and a gourmet breakfast. Although a number of wineries offer onsite accommodations, Summerwood sets itself apart from the rest with its friendly and helpful staff, who will make you feel welcome and right at home.

Keep in mind, the three wineries mentioned here are just a few of the many at Paso Robles area of California. Once you're had the pleasure of visiting the region, there's no doubt you'll want to return again and again to ensure you're visting all the wonderful wineries this beautiful area provides.
